Here’s a surefire tip for this weekend’s Scottish Grand National! I will guarantee you can’t lose on this one. Here it is - Don’t pick a horse, don’t place a bet, don’t bother with the whole thing! It’s the only way to prevent losing money on it.

On the other hand, a couple of quid on a horse you like the name of won’t break the bank and you might even win.

Good luck if you do place a bet, but don’t gamble more than you can afford.

Is it just me, or does it seem like anyone with a vanity plate is a complete arse?

“Look at Me!”, “I own the road”, “I’m really clever, got my name on my number plate”. Idiots!

And don’t get me started on the stupid Boy Racers with their booming sound systems, spoiler kits and extra-loud exhausts.

Maybe I should start a section to publish their number plates along with what idiocy they’re guilty of?
