A major hurricane (Senga) and an earthquake measuring 5.8 on the Richter scale hit Glasgow in the early hours of yesterday with its epicentre in The Gorbals.

Victims were seen wandering around aimlessly, muttering “Pure mental, man-no?”. The hurricane decimated the area causing approximately £30 worth of damage. Several priceless collections of mementos from Majorca and the Seville were damaged beyond repair.

When Windows XP was released 128 Megabytes of RAM was adequate, in fact most in branded machines this was the default. If you’ve since installed all the recommended updates this is now nowhere near enough!

Microsoft still quote 64MB as the minimum, but in reality 256MB is required with 512MB being a more comfortable amount.

With 256MB of RAM now retailing for around £20, it’s definately a worthwhile upgrade to consider.

Why, oh why is this disgusting wallcovering still in existence? If there’s a more difficult wallpaper to remove than woodchip I’ve not come across it!

Advice abounds around the internet on how to get rid of it, but it seems the main thing that helps is persistance.

7am on a Sunday morning? After a night on the Beer? What are the chances of that happening?

Well, I didn’t quite manage my target but I was still up before 8am, so not too bad a start. Should be easier next weekend as I’ll definately be up at 7 through the week for my daily drive to Glasgow.
